John Armbruster, 49 years old, died from injuries received when he was struck by a neighbors car as the neighbor was backing out of his driveway. A coroner's investigation revealed the death as accidental. Mr Armsbruster was employed in the Ottumwa Pickle department, at Morrells. Starting his service with the Ottumwa organization on February 27, 1992, he was employed in the Smoked Meat Department. He left the company in January 1925, and returned May 13 of that year. Again he was employed in the Smoked Meat department. In December of 1925 he was transferred to the Pickle department; in August 1934 he was transferred to the beef house. The Pickle department was his favorite however. Death interrupted his service October 1. Our sympathies are extended to his survivors.
