Craig Keith Nalley
Craig Keith Nalley, 68, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa passed away December 6, 2016 at Hospice House in Ottumwa, Iowa. He was born July 24, 1948 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Keith Henry and Helen Juanita Merryman Nalley. He married Judy Lucas on August 7, 1971 in Sperry, Iowa. They later divorced. Craig has shared the last 22 years of his life with his significant other, Judith Stout. He worked for John Deere Ottumwa Works as a welder for over 25 years.
Craig served in the Navy as a Seabee during Vietnam and was a member of Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion for several years. He enjoyed all aspects of farming; raising livestock, mowing hay, being outdoors and was an Allis-Chalmers Tractor enthusiast. Craig loved guns and was a long-time member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, listening to country music, and was a member of A.A. for 23 years.
He is survived by his father, Keith Nalley of Bloomfield; significant other, Judith Stout; daughter, Janelle (Jake) Nalley-Londquist of Mediapolis, Iowa; two sons, Eric (Jill) Nalley of Sperry, Iowa, Justin Nalley of Burlington, Iowa; four grandchildren, Logan Londquist, Allison, Lily, and Henry Nalley; sister, Carla (Terry) Petersen of Altoona, Iowa; two nephews, Cory and Chad Fleming; and a niece, Cari Fleming.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jaunita Nalley.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Doran Bollman officiating. Burial with military rites performed by Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion will be at the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial has been established
