Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” August 3, 1943:

MRS. JOHN DUNGAN.

Mrs. Anna Belle Dungan, 69, died at the Bollinger nursing home on East Second street at 8:45 p.m. Monday.

She was the daughter of John and Nancy Harbin and was born April 26, 1874, at Milton. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Herman and Mrs. Earl Wells of Ottumwa; a son, Ray Hasty of Southwest City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. John Ryan of Oklahoma City, Okla., eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Carroll Reece funeral home in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure of the Pentecostal Church of God. Burial will be in the Abingdon cemetery.

Her husband, John Dungan, preceded her in death.
