Word was received here last week of the death of Mrs. Alex Davis at her home in Hooker, Okla. Her husband, Alex Davis, is a brother of Mrs. M. N. Henkle, Mrs. Frank Harward and Miss Emma Davis, all who live here. Mrs. Davis was a daughter of Peter and Rachel Noel, early pioneers in the community west of here in Davis county, where Mrs. Davis was born and reared. The Davis family have lived in Oklahoma about thirty-six years. Last fall Mr. and Mrs. Davis observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
