AGENCY - Grover Wayne Elsensohn, 64, of Agency, died Sunday, August 29, 1976, at 10:41 a.m. at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.  Born May 15, 1912, in Van Buren County, to William and Letha Pool Elsensohn, he was an Ottumwa resident from 1918 to 1938, and was an Ottumwa High School graduate.  A resident of Agency since 1938, he was owner of Grover's Hardware from 1938 until his retirement in 1974.  He served in WWII with the Air Force.  Mr. Elsensohn was a member of the Agency United Methodist Church, Olive Branch Lodge No. 21 AF & AM, Agency Lions Club, Knights of Pythias and the D.O.K.K.  He was a past member of the Iowa Retail Hardware Association.  He married Eloise Giltner Aug. 27, 1933.  She survives.  Also surviving are his father, William Elsensohn of Ottumwa; five sisters, Edna Ross of Portage, Indiana; Eileen Hendricks, Veva Clary, and Martha Farrington, all of Ottumwa, and Florence Hull of Phoenix, Arizona; and one brother, Fred Elsensohn of San Jacinto, California.  Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. William Trembly of the Agency United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 American Legion, will conduct graveside military services.  Pallbearers will be Gerald Howard, Melvin Barnett, John Coffman, Charles Hanna, Robert Fite, and Wendell Beale.  Masonic services will be today at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  A memorial has been established payable to the Agency Methodist Church.
