With the help of Shirley and the Alfrey Cemetery book from the Keosauqua Public Library, which said the headstone was 27 ft from the west fence, I found the headstone under a bush and among a little poison ivy. The headstone is broken, but the largest piece was still propped up. What would be a more accurate name for the Alfrey Cemetery book at the library, so I can cite it as a source? I'll submit a photo of the headstone to the iagravestones website.
