Timothy Lee Carter

Timothy Lee Carter, 19, of Mount Pleasant, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 1993, following an accident on I-80 near Grinnell.

Born July 18, 1974, at Ottumwa, he was the son of Gary and Marleen Stevens Carter.

He was employed by the Job Corps of Dennison and attended Mount Pleasant community schools.

Survivors include his parents of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Jason Carter of Mount Pleasant; and a grandmother, Dorothy Carter of Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by grandparents.

The funeral service was Tuesday, November 9, at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Reverend David Callen officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
