Farris Christy

Farris H. Christy, 77, Argyle, died Sunday, November 14, 1993, at Keokuk Area Hospital.

He was born May 17, 1916, at Revere, Missouri, the son of Henry and Lula Christy. He married Bernice J. Richey on March 31, 1954, at Mount Pleasant. She survives.

Mr. Christy was a piano tuner. He was of the Presbyterian Faith.

Survivors include three children, Roger, Branson, Missouri, Joe, Omaha, Texas and Holly Sue, Keokuk; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and thee brothers, Dr. Ira Christy, Farmington, Charlie Christy, Illinois, and Vic Christy, Revere, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one grandson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 16, at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson. Reverend Diane Bishop officiated. Burial was in Argyle Memorial Gardens.
