Rolland Richardson

Rolland B. "Ollie" Richardson, 58, Burlington, died at 4:48 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 1933 in Farmington, he was the son of Vern and Gladys Davis Richardson. He married Donna D. Watson on January 10, 1951 in Farmington.

He was a 1950 graduate of Farmington High School. He was a senior vice president at Midwest Federal Savings and Loan, retiring in 1985 with 25 years of service. He was treasurer of Burlington Kiwanis Club, past president and director of Burlington Baseball Association and was a member of the Des Moines Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M., 32nd Mason, Eagles Lodge, and the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jerald Richardson of Burlington and Stephen Richardson of Bonaparte; one sister, Cheryl Bossett of Wapello; and one brother Brent Richardson of North English.

Masonic rites were conducted at Lunning Chapel with Dr. Robert Dodder officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the children's programs at the Burlington Kiwanis Club.
