Jean W. Anderson

Jean W. Anderson, 81, of Keosauqua Route 2 died at 11:40 a.m., April 12, 1991 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

He was born September 12, 1909, in Siloame Springs, Ark., to Lewis and Florence Knox Anderson. He married Joyce King on Nov. 25, 1936, in Fairfield.

He farmed in Van Buren County the past 45 years northeast of Keosauqua and was a member of Heartland Coyote Hunters Association.

he is survived by his wife; two sons, Ralph of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Harry of Birmingham; a daughter, Helen Anderson of Stuart, Fla.; two grandchildren; a brother, Robert of Redding, Calif., and a sister, Wilda Fellows of Douds.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Rome, Carl and Clarence; four sisters, Faye Stewart, Nellie Siemon, Mildred Coker and Louise Payne.

The services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 1991 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, the Rev. Sara Malone officiating. Burial was in Miller Chapel Cemetery northeast of Keosauqua.

Memorials may be made to the Van Buren County ambulance service or Jefferson County Hospital.
