Floyd R. Hardin

DONNELLSON - Floyd R. Hardin, 61, Donnellson, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at Keokuk Area Hospital.

Mr. Hardin was born Jan. 24, 1927, in Donnellson and a lifelong resident of the community. He was a farmer and also worked for Hennies Construction Co. of Donnellson. He was a member of the Zion Mennonite Church of Donnellson and was a Army veteran of World War II.

On March 15, 1947, in Donnellson, he married Barbara Bengston, who survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Hilda Showalter Hardin, Donnellson; three sons, Russell, Jim and Ronald, all of Donnellson; a daughter, Linda Ohnoutka, Savage, Md.; four sisters, Janet Morris, Sarasota, Fla., Marguerite Johnson, Donnellson, Violet Kirkpatrick, Erwin, Tenn., and Nedra Adkins, Farmington; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home where the family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

A memorial is being established with the Donnellson Rescue Squad. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
