Vera P. Adams dies in California

SALINAS, CALIF. - Vera Pearson Adams, 64, died June 19 in Salinas, Calif., where she had made her home for a number of years.

She was born in Selma, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pearson.

Surviving are her husband, Marian; three daughters, Patricia Riggs of Fremont, Calif., Jaqualine Lewis and Jeanette Platt of San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Pink Pearson; five sisters, Melva Carr of Douds, Wyona Fellows of Englewood, Fla., Margaret Johnson of Ottumwa, Fern Jordan of Pierce, Ariz., Judith Joyner of Lawton, Okla.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and her father.
