Hollis J. Boyd, 78, Memphis, Mo., died Wednesday, July 30, at the Scotland County Memorial Nursing Home.
He was born June 7, 1908, son of George and Ida McIntosh Boyd.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the First Christian Church and the V.F.W. Post 4958 in Memphis.
Survivors include sister Mrs. Fossie McGee of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Payne-Gerth Funeral Home in Memphis with the Rev. Kenneth Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Cantril Cemetery at Cantril, Iowa.
