BLOOMFIELD - Joseph Calvin Robinson, 80, of Bloomfield died Sept. 11, 1986, at the Bloomfield Care Center.

He was born Aug. 27, 1906, in Evans to John Calvin and Daisy Stump Robinson. He was an installer for Western Electric Co. in Omaha, Neb., for several years, retiring in 1970. He was a resident of Bloomfield the past two years. He was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, Omaha Council 1? Royal and Select Masters, the Mt. Calvary Commandery 1 Knights Templar and Tangier Temple AAONM Shrine. He was a life time member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Noroma Shrine Club, the Narcisus Chapter 269 Order of Eastern Star, John J. Mercer 390 Masonic Lodge and the Delta Chapter 60 Royal Arch Masons. He married Doris Ester Young on June 6, 1939, Traer. She died April 7, 1976. He married Mildred Parker Lanman on Aug. 22, 1976, in Selma.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Ruth Ann Abbs of Vienna, Va.; a son, Joseph Calvin Robinson, Jr. of Thornton, Colo.; two step-daughters, Lucille Garmon of Benson, Ariz. and Irene Moore of Eldon; a stepson, Lloyd Lanman of Bloomfield; four grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 13 step-greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel Anderson and Ruth Kuczor of Cedar Falls.

The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. Dean McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Foreset Lawn Cemetery in Omaha, Neb.

Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
