CLIFFORD DANIELSON

Clifford Danielson, 74, of Fairfield died at 2:50 a.m. Sept. 15, 1986, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

He was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Jefferson County to J. Irwin and Jessie Johnston Danielson. He was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County, where he had been a farmer, and was self-employed as a livestock trucker until his retirement in 1983. He was a member of Birmingham Presbyterian Church, and the Odd Fellows Lodge. He married Martha Barker, April 18, 1937, in Birmingham.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Jessie Hanna and Linda Dougherty of Libertyville and Carolyn Ellingson, of Roland; three sons, Robert of Libertyville, John of Fairfield, and Carl of Buffalo, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and his step-mother, Era Danielson of Fairfield.

The service was Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Connor and the Rev. Loy Lollar officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to the new Birmingham Presbyterian Church or the Libertyville Community Center.
