BLOOMFIELD - Chester "Chet" A. Mustard, 90, of rural Douds died at 11:25 a.m. April 10, 1986, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.
He was born Jan. 7, 1896, in Davis County to Jeremiah and Flora Barker Mustard. A resident of Davis County most of his life, he was a farmer, member of the Christian Church in Ottumwa and past member of the Eagles Lodge of Ottumwa. He married Nina Davis in Ottumwa. She died Feb. 24, 1965.
He is survived by two brothers, Howard of Bloomfield and Charles of Douds; and two sisters, Willa Roberts of Pulaski and Lizzie Roberts of Bloomfield.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. Steven Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa.
The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
Visitation is open at the funeral home.
