Florence Crawley

SELMA - Florence I. Crawley, 83, of Alton, Mo., and formerly of Selma, Ottumwa and Burlington, died Aug. 26, 1986, at Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, Mo.

She was born March 30, 1903, in Selma to Marion and Mary Eddith Davis Henkle. She had recently moved to Alton. She was a Methodist. She married Russell G. Crawley Oct. 9, 1921, in Selma. He died in 1936.

She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Davis, of Alton, Mo., Juanita Bowen, of Albany, Ill., and Arbeulah Russell of Ottumwa; two sons, Gilbert of Middletown and George of Romeoville, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Clair.

Services will be 11 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, the Rev. Charles Stevens, of Burlington, officiating.

Friends may call after noon today. The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Iowaville Cemetery, Selma.

Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
