Donna G. Augspurger

Donna G. Augspurger, daughter of LaVerne and Frances Rankin Overstreet, was born July 4, 1935 at Raritan, Illinois and departed this life the evening of Monday, December 1, 1986 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, at the age of 51.

As a child she moved with her parents to the Cantril community. She graduated from Milton High School in 1953 and immediately began working at State Savings Bank in Cantril. She was currently cashier with 33 years of service at the bank.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Milton, its United Methodist Women, and was an Eastern Star.

Donna married James Augspurger April 19, 1957 in the Milton United Methodist Church. They have lived most of their married life in Milton.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Cheryl of Des Moines; a son, Alan of Dallas, Texas; and her mother of rural Cantril. Also surviving are five brothers, Rex Overstreet, Milton, Ronald Overstreet, Leon, Eugene Overstreet, Bonaparte, Byron Overstreet, Springfield, Missouri, Burton Overstreet, Cantril; a sister, Dolores Hannam, Newport Beach, California.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 4, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. in Grace United Methodist Church, Milton with Rev. Andrew Rubenking officiating. Interment was in Pulaski Cemetery. A memorial was established for her church. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
