Ivas Schmitter

LIBERTYVILLE - Ivas A. Schmitter, 65, of Libertyville died Nov. 30, 1985, at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born to Hugh and Ivas Case Woodburnon(err) Aug. 7, 1920, in Sediweg, Colo. She married Boyd Schmitter Dec. 31, 1946. He survives.

She is also survived by a daughter, Shirley Jo Topping of Birmingham; four sisters, Rose Dailey of Batavia, Agnes Steele of Lockridge, Margaret Bandilla of Carmichael, Calif., and Mable Leedom of Ankeny; and two brothers, Robert Woodburn of Fairfield and Sterling Woodburn of Batavia.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia, the Rev. Robert Connor officiating. Burial will be in in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.

A memorial has been established to the Faith Methodist Church of Libertyville.
