Edith L. Saunderson

KEOSAUQUA - Former Keosauqua resident Edith L. Saunderson, 94, died at Sebastopol, Calif. Monday, Oct. 22.

She was born Oct 1, 1890, near Mt. Zion, to William and Ida Moore Saunderson.

She was a schoolteacher in Keosauqua before moving California.

Surviving: Two sisters, Bertha Saunderson, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Helen Gove, Keosauqua; a brother, Mont Saunderson, Sun City Center, Fla.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Purdom Cemetery at Keosauqua, the Rev. Louise Spears. Pedrick Funeral Home is in charge.
