RAY E. WEBBER

Ray E. Webber, 91, died Sunday night, October 24, 1982, at the Nelson Nursing Home.

He was born August 2, 1891, at Stockport, to John H. and Nancy Watson Weber. He married Lola Bequeaith, December 15, 1960, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fairfield, lived in Fairfield 22 years and was a retired farmer from the Stockport area. He served three years on the Van Buren County Board of Supervisors.

Surviving: his wife; one daughter, Paulin Likes, Kirkwood, Missouri; three sons, Wayne, St. Louis, Robert, Ronan, Montana, Keith, Stockport; three stepchildren, Wayne Bequeaith, Stanwood, Refa Carr and Marie Bradshaw, both of Ottumwa; 12 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 27, 1982, at 2 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield with the Rev. Dan Munson officiating. Burial was in Spencer Cemetery, Stockport. A memorial has been established to the Nelson Nursing Home.
