NORMA J. TULLIS

Norma Jeanne Tullis was born March 12, 1929, at Kilbourne, Iowa, and departed this life Friday, August 13, 1982, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids at the age of 53.

She attended schools in Kilbourne, Mt. Zion, Ottumwa and Keosauqua. She was married to Richard F. Tullis June 17, 1950 at Ottumwa. Norma was a member and Past Marshall of Marion Chapter No. 183, Order of The Eastern Star.

Surviving are the husband; one son, Richard M. Tullis of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Patricia J. Carleton of Rochester, Minnesota; three grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Gretchen Bell of Fremont; grandmother, Julia Sodergren of Keosauqua; an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Carlton of Birmingham; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 16, 1982, at 3 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Interment was in Kilbourne Cemetery. A memorial was established for the Kilbourne Cemetery Association.
