Ada G. Johnson

Mrs. Ada G. Johnson, sister of Charles Gaskell of Keosauqua died Sunday, August 15, at the age of 79 in Ocala Hospital, Ocala, Fla.

Johnson was a former resident of Burlington, born in Mediapolis on July 22, 1908 to Walter and Rose Gaskell.

She was married to Otis Johnson June 10, 1927. He died 50 years later, in 1977.

Johnson is survived by two daughters, Genevieve Swander of Ocala, and Patricia Isaak of Hopkins, Minn.; two brothers, Alfred Gaskell of Columbia, Mo. and Charles Gaskell of Keosauqua; three sisters, Marie Cravy of Napa, Calif., Olive Gremmel of Muscatine, and Myrtle Gabriel of Columbus Junction; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 19, 1982 at Lunning Chapel with Dr. Robert Buhr officiating, and at the Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established at Bethany Lunteran Church where Johnson was a member.
