ELMER A. HALL

Elmer A. Hall, age 74, of rural Birmingham, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 1981 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

He was born Oct. 15, 1906 the son of Adolph and Nettia Bailey Hall. On March 3, 1935, he was married to Verle Lyon who survives as does four sons, Larry of Fairfield, Dean of Stockport, Rex of Birmingham, and Donald of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Sieber of New York, New York, and Betty Hall, Independence, Mo.; eleven grandchildren; a brother Robert Hall of Birmingham, and a sister Madge Hall of Portland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by a grandson and a sister.

Mr. Hall was a member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church, Birmingham, Lions Club with 12 year perfect attendance, Birmingham Friendly Folks, Bonnett Community Club and a long time Trustee of Union Township.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1981 at the Birmingham United Methodist Church with Rev. David A. Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorial to the Birmingham Lions Club or Birmingham United Methodist Church may be left at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.
