CARL B. CLARK

Carl B. Clark, 71, of Bonaparte died Wednesday, March 11, 1981 at 8:40 a.m. in Van Buren County Memorial hospital, Keosauqua.

The son of George and Rose Moorey Clark, he was born Aug. 9, 1909 at Swan Creek, Ill.

He married Flossie Greer on Dec. 23, 1932 at Keosauqua.

A Bonaparte resident for 30 years, he had been employed by Van Buren County and Raid Quarries.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Bernard of Keosauqua, Ervin of Taylor, Mo., Jerry of Clayton, Ill., Tom of Mt. Sterling; and a daughter, Juanita Renteria of Burlington; three brothers, Frank Clark of Keosauqua, Clyde Clark of Bonaparte, and Edgar Clark of Arizona; three sisters, Lola Pratt of Stockport, Daisy Jack and Kathryn Cass, both of Bonaparte; 19 grand children and 4 great-grand children.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter, three brothers and one sister.

The funeral was held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Bonaparte Baptist church with Pastor Robert Dodds officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery.

The Hofbauer Funeral home, Farmington, was in charge of arrangements.
