ELI BELL

Eli F. Bell, 64, a resident of Chariton since 1940, died the afternoon of Sept. 19 in Mary Greeley Hospital at Ames.

He was born March 4, 1917 in Milton to Clifford P. and Gladys Kern Bell. A supervisor for Farmers Home Administration for 33 years, he retired in 1973. He was a graduate of Milton High School and Iowa State University.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie of Chariton a daughter, Rhonda of Ames; two grandchildren; and his mother of Bloomfield.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1981 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton. Elder Joe Smith officiating. Burial was in Chariton Cemetery.
