MARTIN V. ANDERSON

Martin V. Anderson age 74 of Birmingham passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 1981 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

He was born May 19, 1906 at Afton, Iowa the son of Charles and Mary Anderson. Married to Chloe Calvin who preceeded him in death. Then on July 1952 he was married to Sarah Verle McClearcy. She survives as well as a son Larry D. Anderson of Des Moines and a daughter Beverly Wilson of Cedar Rapids. 4 step children Bob Fiber of Cedar Rapids, Evelyn Jean McDowell of Birmingham - Gwen Smith of Burlington and Sandra Jane McDhee of Des Moines, 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services for Mr. Anderson were held Monday, Jan 5th. 1981 at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with Rev. Wayne Bartoff officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorials to the Heart Fund may be left at the Funeral Home.
