Annabelle L. Sexton

Mrs. Annabelle L. Sexton, 86, 509 W. Morningside Drive, Burlington, Iowa, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday May 13, 1988 at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Feb. 25, 1902 at Douds, she was the daugther of Alvin Lasley and Lulu Hanshaw Lasley. She married Roy Sexton on June 10, 1926, at Des Moines.

She was a school teacher, homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Sharon Anson, Adrian, Mich., Mrs. Sheila Davison, Sacramento, Calif. and Mrs. Kandi Lewis, Boulder, Colo., six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The service for Mrs. Sexton was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 1988 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Dodder officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial for First United Methodist Church has been established.
