Audrey Oletha Sedore

Audrey Oletha Sedore, 93, of Cantril died Feb. 10, 1989, at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Mo.

She was born Aug. 9, 1895, near Troy to Silas Newton and Nettie Spencer Russell. She farmed with her husband in Van Buren County and lived briefly near Luray, Mo. She moved to Cantril in 1973. She married Harvey H. Sedore on Jan. 31, 1915, in Milton; he died in 1972.

She is survived by two sons, Russell of Bentonsport and Doyle of Luray, Mo.; five daughters, Ethelyn Helton and Nettie Duke of Memphis, Mo., Pearl Pettit of Naples, Fla., Hazel Reisch of Cantril, and Donna VanLaningham of Fairfield; 31 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma Atkins of Keosauqua.

The service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1989 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, the Rev. Lester Terlouw officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.
