Ancil Neal

Ancil Charles Neal, 72, died at his home Thursday in Milton.

He was born May 16, 1907 to Charles L. and Candes Springer Neal. He married Margaret Bilterman, who died in 1968. He was a retired coal miner.

Survivors include three daughters, Rosemary White of Milton, Gretchen Drury of Houston, Texas and Kathy Richardson of Pulaski; a son, William of Houston; 11 grandchildren; six sisters, Icel Allison of Albia, Edna Hodges of Pomona, Calif., Martha Cunningham of Pasadena, Calif., Beulah Hoover of Milwaukee, Wis., Delta Olsen of Greensboro, N.C. and Marguerite Albright of California; and two brothers, Hallie of Ottumwa and Albert of Albia.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Milton Christian Church, conducted by John Augspurger. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery. The Priester Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established to the American Deibetic(sp) Fund, Iowa Affiliate.
