Hildred Heither

Hildred Heither, 88, a former Pulaski resident, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1988, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Davenport.

She was born Aug. 13, 1900 in Ash Grove to J.B. and Annie Bickel Allen. She moved to Davenport in 1971. She married Herbert Walter Heither on July 15, 1920 in Pulaski. He died Jan. 1, 1971.

Survivors include two sons, Eldon of New Port Richey, Fla. and Allan of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; a brother, Louis Allen of Milton; and a sister, Lulu Ganterman of bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald.

The service was Saturday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, conducted by the Rev. Allan Birr. Burial was in the Pulaski Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Davenport.
