W.E. Grove(s) (Tink) 78, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 1972 at Whittier, Calif. He was born Dec. 4, 1894 at Milton, the son of Charles and Catherine Groves. He is survived by his widow, Ruth, a daughter Maxine Higbee of Whittier, Calif., two sons, Dwayne of Whittier and Dwight of Cerriton, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Gibbons of Covina, Calif. and Villat Holt of Ft. Madison and five grandchilren. The body arrived in Milton at the Wellborn Funeral Home Sunday A.M. The service was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wellborn Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.
