Ruth O. Groves

Ruth O. Groves, 86, formerly of Milton, died nov. 1987, in Whittier, Calif. She was born Feb. 17, 1901, at Oquawka, Ill., to George and Hattie Perkins Mills.

She married Willis Groves, who died in 1973. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dwayne, who died in 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Higbee of Whittier, Calif.; a son, Dwight of Sun City, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton with Ed Poole of the Milton Christian Church officiating.

Funeral arrangements are being made at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
