Mildred Grosvenor

Mildred F. Grosvenor, 75, of Coralville died July 13, 1992 at Yucaipa, Calif., of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

She was born May 10, 1917, in Davis County to Herman Dietrich and Wilhelminia Fangmier Osing.

She married Gerald L. Grosvenor on Dec. 29, 1933, in Ottumwa.

They lived in Bloomfield until the 1970's, then moved to Coralville. She had worked for Lantern Park Care Center.

She is survived by four sons, Leonard of West Branch, Paul of San Bernadino, Calif., Clifford of Oak Glenn, Calif., and John of Coralville; seven daughters, Virginia Rysdam of Bloomfield; Pauline Osborne of Burlington, Ruth Enlow of Las Vegas, Nev., Barbara Stellinga of Sioux Falls, S.D., Marsha Selck of Pierce, Nebr., Kathy McKinney of Oskaloosa and Rhonda Steckman of Marshalltown; 39 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Julius Osing of St. Louis, Mo., and Louis Osing of Cherry Valley, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at George L. Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City, the Rev. Quentin Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville.
