Helen Grant

Helen Bell Grant, 77, of Milton, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1992, at 3:15 p.m. at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

She was born September 9, 1915 at Milton, to Eva Bell and Eich Jacob Miller. She married Herb Grant on April 10, 1946 at Fort Madison.

She was a homemaker, a 50-year member of the Milton Eastern Star, past member of American Legion Auxiliary Russell-Strait Post at Milton and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Milton.

Survivors include her husband; a step-daughter, Judi Baker of Glenwood, Ga.; one sister, Mary Beggs of Sigourney; two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Alice and one brother, Charles.

Funeral services were held Nov. 20, 1992 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Milton with Rev. Kim Eanes officiating. Burial was in the
Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Memorials may be made to her church.

Priester Funeral Chapel was in the charge the arrangements.
