Ruth E. Greene

Ruth E. Greene, 62, of Moulton, Iowa, route 2, died at the Davis County Hospital October 1, 1978, at 6:35 p.m.

She was born October 15, 1915, in Davis County, Iowa, at Arthur and Edith Wiseman Barnett. She was a housewife and private music instructor. She taught piano, organ, accordian and guitar for many years. She was a member of the West Grove United Methodist Church and taught in the Sunday School for many years.

She was united in marriage to George P. Greene October 22, 1933, in Centerville, Iowa.

Ruth is survived by her husband; one son, Jerry of Bennett, Iowa; daughter, Susan McMillin of West Grove and Beth of Bloomfield; her mother, Edith Bates of Ottumwa; and grandchildren, Sandra and Phillip McMillin, and Lori, Frank and Sam Sullivan and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 5, 1978, at the Wagler Funeral Home, Bloomfield, Iowa, conducted by the Rev. Vern Elder. Interment was in the West Grove Cemetery, West Grove, Iowa.
