Stanley T. Cecil

Stanley T. Cecil, 84, of 13617 North 55th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, was found dead Saturday, October 22, 1988 at a hotel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The body was cremated and the ashes were interned in the Greenwood Memorial Park in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was born March 26, 1904, near Stockport, Iowa, the son of Amos and Rose Amelia Carter Cecil.

Cecil was a graduate of the Milton, Iowa High school and Iowa Wesleyan College at Mount Pleasant. He married Marie Margaret Sesser of Clinton, Iowa, on June 15, 1935 at the Methodist Parsonage in Keosauqua, Iowa. She died March 17, 1978.

He was the last of his family. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, Earl and Elvin and two infant brothers

He is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
