Cloe Cassatt

Cloe Mae Cassatt, 89, of El Cajon, Calif. and formerly of Milton and Bloomfield died June 23, 1993, at Anza Convalescent Home in El Cajon.

She was born March 13, 1904, to James and Nellie Rousch Carruthers. She married Harold Elias Cassatt on Aug. 27, 1921, in Bloomfield. He died July 21, 1982.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Milton Christian Church. She had been a resident of El Cajon for three years.

She is survived by three sons, James of Houston, Tex., Charles of Davenport and William of Sterling, Ill.; a daughter, Mary Spahr of El Cajon, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Floyd of Massachusetts; and a sister, Helen Cassatt of Bloomfield.

Funeral services were held June 29, 1993 at the Milton Christian Church with the Rev. Don Macy officiating. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Memorials may be made to her church.

Wagler Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
