Carolyn Jarvis Carrico, 30, of Stockport, stepson, Jason, 11 and sons Sean, 6 and Timothy, 4, died of smoke inhalation in a fire at their home in Stockport early Monday, Jan. 13, 1986.

Carolyn Carrico was born Nov. 2, 1955 at Bloomfield to Oren and Lovetta Law Jarvis. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1974. She married Joel W. Carrico May 5, 1980, at Troy. He died Oct. 19, 1985.

She is survived by a son, Joey, of Stockport; her parents, Oren and Lovetta Jarvis of Troy; a brother, Russell Jarvis of Troy; two sisters, Jeanie Rupe of Troy and Elizbeth Yeoman of Ottumwa; and a grandmother, Clara Law of Troy.

Jason Carrico was the son of Joel and Kitty Carpenter Carrico. He was born Nov. 7, 1974, in Keosauqua. He was a fourth-grade student in the Stockport Elementary School.

He is survived by his mother, Kitty Sherrill of Fort Madison; and grandparents, Hazel and Lloyd Carpenter of Bonaparte, Wayne and Donna Carrico of Stockport.

Sean Carrico was born Sept. 21, 1979, to Joel and Carolyn Jarvis Carrico at Keosauqua. He attended kindergarten at Stockport Elementary School. Timothy was born to Joel and Carolyn Carrico on July 13, 1981, at Keosauqua.

Sean and Timothy are survived by a brother, Joey; grandparents, Wayne and Donna Carrico of Stockport, and Oren and Lovetta Jarvis of Troy; a great-grandmother, Clara Law of Troy; and a great-grandmother, Ora Carrico of Garden Grove.

The family attended the Stockport Christian Church.

The service was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stockport American Legion Hall, the Rev. Robert Butt and the Rev. Marilyn Butler officiating. The bodies of Mrs. Carrico, Sean and Timothy will be cremated. The remains will be scattered in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport. Jason will be buried in Brethren Cemetery near Libertyville.

Memorial may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
