Anna Carlson Funeral Today

Rites were in Milton this afternoon for Mrs. Anna Carlson, 88, who died Sunday at the home of a son, Clifford Carlson of Bloomfield.

Funeral services were at the Milton Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Richard Eis. Burial was in Sunnyside cemetery there.

Mrs. Carlson was born in Sandholm, Sweden, Jan. 15, 1875, and came to America at the age of 21. She married Victor F. Carlson on Dec. 23, 1899, and he died in 1942.

Survivors include two sisters in Sweden, two sons, Hilmer Carlson of Memphis, Mo., and Clifford Carlson of Bloomfield; two daughters, Irene Williams of Des Moines and Edith Murphy of Pulaski, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Zugg, who died in 1962, and a son, Robert, who died in 1925.

Mrs. Carlson was a member of the Milton Methodist church.
