Helena Ruth Willeford, 66, 1627 Palean, Keokuk, died at 7:10 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1969 at Graham Hospital, Keokuk, following a lingering illness of five years.

She was born July 4, 1903 in Bonaparte, the daughter of Henry John and Daisy Ruth Kraushaar. On Oct. 31, 1938, she married Levi Jonathan Willeford in the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa.

With the exception of a few years, she was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was a past mother advisor of Rainbow Girls, a member of Elmira Chapter NO. 40, Order of the Eastern Star, and a past worthy high priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Pyramid Temple and a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

She is survived by her husband and two sisters, Mrs. George (Vivian) Weiny and Mrs. D.H. (Penny) Richtman. Several nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at DeJong Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil A. Wells officiating. Burial in Sunset Gardens.
