Miss Dorothy Hecker

Miss Dorothy Hecker, 69, of Farmington, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11:15 P.M. in St. Joseph Hospital, Keokuk. She had been ill two weeks. She was born Aug. 9, 1900 at Farmington, the daughter of Daniel and Kate Stuhlman Hecker. She spent her entire life in Farmington and was employed at the Valley Limestone and Gravel Co. for 30 years, retiring two years ago.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chapter O, P.E.O. and the Pioneer Historical Society.

She never married. There are no known survivors. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ann.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, Nov. 6 in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery. The services were in charge of the Millers' Home for Funerals at Farmington.
