ALBERT C. MILLER

The funeral of Albert C. (Bert) Miller, 86, who died at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield on Wednesday morning, October 23, was held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. The Rev. Bob Mann of the Birmingham Fred Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Miller had been seriously ill the past two weeks and in failing health several years. His home is one mile southeast of Birmingham.

Born Oct. 17, 1882, at Birmingham, Miller was the son of David and Mary Spees Miller. He was married Oct. 25, 1911 to Alta Behner. She died July 6, 1931. On June 23, 1936, he married Alice Dunham, who survives.

He was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Other survivors are three sons, David and Maurice of Birmingham and Dale of Fairfield; two daughters, Mrs. James Warner and Mrs. Harold Beswick of Stockpot; five grandchildren; one brother, Quay of Birmingham and three sisters, Ethel Johnston of Oskaloosa and Rose Miller and Charlotte Miller, both of Birmingham.
