MRS. IZA JONES

Mrs. Iza Jones, second daughter of Alva and Elizabeth Warner Jones, was born in Van Buren County near Lebanon on May 20, 1883, and died at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Aug. 23, 1966 in Keosauqua after a brief illness.

She was married on Sept. 3, 1916 to Harry Jones in Milton. She lived all her married life in Rock Island, where she was a member of the Christian Church. Her husband died on Jan. 29, 1946 and since that time she had made her home in Milton.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vidis Miller; a grandson, Dick Miller; a son-in-law, Carl Miller, all of Elmhurst, Ill.; a grand nephew, Dean A. Davis of Naperville, Ill. and a grand niece, Mrs. Beverly Beeler of Milton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mrs. Annie Davis and a nephew, Earl J. Davis.

Funeral services were held at the Wellborn Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 25. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.
