OCEE BOSTOCK

Ocee Lee Bostock, 89, of Farmington died Friday, Aug. 26, at 6:05 p.m. in the Farmington Rest Home after a lengthy illness.

He was born Dec. 15, 1876 near Keosauqua, the son of John and Mary Davis Bostock.

On Sept. 28, 1910 in Des Moines he married Anna E. Hunter. She died Dec. 23, 1943.

He spent his entire life in Van Buren County and was a retired farmer. Mr. Bostock was a member of the Presbyterian church. He was a 66 year Mason, a member of the Bonaparte Masonic lodge, Lafayette chapter, and was formerly a member of the Consistory and Shrine. He served one term as supervisor and was a director of Mutual Insurance Company a number of years.

He is survived by two sons, Keith of Farmington and Gerald of Bonaparte; a sister, Mrs. Sally Burnett of Alhambra, Calif., three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Farmington Methodist church with the Rev. Leroy Moore officiating. Burial was in Thompson cemetery, southwest of Bonaparte, with Masonic rites at the graveside. Arrangements were by Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington.
