EARL H. SIVERLY

Earl H. Siverly, 46, of Burlington, a former Bonaparte resident, died very suddenly Monday, Aug. 29, at 7:30 a.m. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua. He had been ill two weeks but death was unexpected.

He was born Jan. 10, 1920 in Morning Sun, the son of Edward and Minnie Holland Siverly. A resident of Morning Sun until he was 20, he moved to Bonaparte where he lived about 25 years before moving to Burlington about a year ago.

He was married to Bernita Rose in 1943, who preceded him in death in 1956. In 1957, he married Lois Chubb Malone, who survives.

Mr. Siverly was a Methodist. He was a pipe fitter at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Middletown.

Besides his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Janet Baldrige of West Burlington, Judy Siverly and Marlis Siverly, both of Burlington, one step-son, Michael Malone of Oroville, calif., and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 10:30 a.m. in the Methodist church in Bonaparte with the Rev. Leroy Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Morning Sun cemetery, Morning Sun, Iowa.

The body will be at the Carl Wilson Home in Bonaparte until time of service. Miller's Home For Funerals in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
