Mrs. Perry Still

Mrs. Mary Alice Still, 68, of rural route Bonaparte died Saturday, Apr. 30, at 3:30 p.m. at her home. Death was sudden.

She was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Miller Wallingford, born Nov. 5, 1897 in Van Buren county near Bonaparte and was a lifelong resident of the area.

On April 16, 1919 at Keokuk, she married Perry Still, who survives.

She was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Henry Still of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; one step-son, Dale Still of Bonaparte; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Walter (Opal) Corsbie of Donnellson and Mrs. Floyd (Veda) O'Neil of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was the last of her family preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 4, at 2 p.m. in the Sharon Presbyterian church with Rev. Ernest Gutha officiating. Burial will be in Sharon cemetery.

The body will be removed from Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and taken to the church to lie in state until time of service.
