GORDON GOVE

KEOSAUQUA - Gordon Gove, 82, died the evening of Jan. 15 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center.

He was a retired farmer and carpenter born to Ben and Ella Gulick Gove Sept. 1, 1895, at Raritan, Ill. He moved with his parents to Van Buren County in 1906 and lived most of his life in Keosauqua. On Oct. 15, 1916, he married Marie DeHart at Keosauqua. She died in 1967.

Survivors: a sister, Clara Brownlee of Keosauqua.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, the Rev. John Cornish officiating. Burial: Purdom Cemetery. Arrangements: Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
