WALTER CLEMENSON

FARMINGTON - Walter J. Clemenson, 79, of Farmington died Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. in the convalescent center at Keokuk.

He was born Jan. 10, 1898, at Summitville, Iowa, to Soren Frederick and May Lamb Clemenson. He married Margaret Ellen on March 10, 1920, at Keokuk.

He lived on the same farm near Farmington for 42 years and moved to town one year ago. He also had worked for the Iowa Ammunition Plant at Middletown for 20 years. He was a member of Local 1010 of Burlington.

Survivors: his wife; a son, Raymond of Farmington; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Garnet) Denly of Valdosta, Ga.; brothers Fred of Denver, Colo., Floyd of Hamilton, Ill., and Irvin of Peoria, Ill.; sisters Marie Clemenson of Keokuk and Mrs. Florence Dillon of Quincy, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
