ANDREW H. WILLIAMS

Andrew H. Williams, son of Frank and Margaret Whiteside Williams, was born April 23, 1903, near Middletown, Missouri, and departed this life on October 18, 1975, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. He had been in the hospital for five days.

On December 24, 1934, he was united in marriage to Mary Huff at Kirksville, Missouri. She remains to cherish his memory along with their son Lyle and daughter-in-law Charla of Keosauqua, three grandchildren - Alan, Susan, and Lori, a nephew Michael McAtee who made his home with the Williams, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Mr. Williams spent his adult life farming in Lee and Van Buren Counties. He was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church, and the Bonaparte IOOF #22 and Rebecca Lodges.

He will remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, a good neighbor and friend.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 21, 1975, at the Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with the Rev. John Cornish officiating. Honorary pall bearers were John Scott, Richard McCracken, Ray McCracken, Herman Hendreichsen, John Westercamp, and Clarence Riley. Active pallbearers - Charles Warner, Duane Daley, Hollis Brereton, Ervin McCracken, Larry Brereton and Glenn McCracken. Interment was in Bentonsport Cemetery.
